I try to be strong for others around

I don't think I could describe it
Although I try, I do my best

My life will never be the same
That's why it's hard to bear
Because since the day you left us
I think that life's not fair

Some things seem not to matter now
Even things that mattered before
You have no idea what I would give
To make this pain less sore

People say we'll meet again
And yes I know that's true
But I wish it didn't have to be this way
Because you know how much I miss you

I love you with all my heart and soul
And there's one thing you need to know
There's not one person in the human race
That could ever take your place...

May angels rest beside your door
May you hear their voices sing
May you feel their loving care for you
May you hear their peace bells ring

May angels always care for you
And not let you trip and fall
May they bear you up on angels wings
May they keep you standing tall

May they whisper wisdom in your ear
May they touch you when you need
May they remove you from each trace of fear
May they keep you from feeling greed

May they fill you with their presence
May they show you love untold
May they always stand beside you
And make you ever bold

May they teach you what you want to know
About life here and here-after
May they fill you always with their love
And give you the gift of laughter

~~ Angel In My Pocket ~~

I am a tiny angel
I'm smaller than your thumb
I live in peoples pockets
That's where I have my fun

I don't suppose you've seen me
I'm too tiny to detect
Though i'm with you all the time
I doubt we've ever met

Before I was an angel...
I was a fairy in a flower
God himself hand picked me
And gave me angel power

Now god has many angels
That he trains in angel pools
We become his eyes and ears and hands
We become his special tools

And because god is so busy
With way too much to do
He said that my assignment
Is to keep close watch on you

When he tucked me in your pocket
He blessed you with angel care
Then told me to never leave you
And I vowed always to be there

~~ Guardian Angels ~~

When angels sense you need them
and angels always do.....
they come unseen from everywhere
to help and comfort you
they hover close beside you
till all your cares are gone
till they can see you're ready
once again to carry on

Then some of them may fly away
and take their gentle touch
to other hearts that need
the love of angels very much
but one at least stays with you
as your constant friend and guide
for guardian angels never leave
they're always at your side

I heard your voice in the wind today
and I turned to see your face;
The warmth of the wind caressed me
as I stood silently in place.

I felt your touch in the sun today
as its warmth filled the sky;
I closed my eyes for your embrace
and my spirit soared so high.

I saw your eyes in the window pane
as I watched the falling rain;
It seemed as each tiny raindrop fell
it quietly said your name.

I held you close in my heart today
it made me feel complete;
You may have died...but you are not gone
you will always be a part of me.

As long as the sun shines...
the wind blows...
the rain falls...
You will live on inside of me forever
for that is all my heart knows...

I said a prayer for you today.
I hope you didn't mind.
I asked the Lord to comfort you
and put your tears behind.

I prayed for peace and mercy, too,
to help you through each day,
And for His loving guidance
as He leads you on your way.

so I prayed He'd hold your hand,
and offer you some guidance
in a way you'll understand.

I asked Him for little miracles

I've listened to the footprints poem
a million times or more
of how when only one set shows
upon the sandy shore
it's the lord carrying us
and taking on our load
and his are the only set
of footprints that showed

But what if when we look
there are no footprints to be found?
all we see is plain and simple
sand upon the ground
no imprints showing that our lord
is carrying us through life
helping us when we feel
we can not handle all this strife

Where is my lord now that i've fallen
and can't seem to get back up?
so tired and lonely
trying to deal with what seems
an overflowing cup
where are those footprints
in the sand
to tell me he's right there?
helping me with problems
and showing that he really does care

Does he have favourites, OH NO
please tell me that's not so
but why does life seem easier
for some people that I know?
and sometimes I just scream out loud
although it seems in vain
but often gets harder each day
to deal with all this pain

And then it dawned on me
as I realize how simple could it be
I wonder why I was so blind
that I truly did not see
it must have been a lightening bolt
that one day gave me light
because out of the clear blue sky
I finally regained my sight

I saw a fluffy white cloud
shaped like an angel dear
that helped me to understand
and see things oh so clear
that's when I saw no footprints
and so often wondered why
my lord carried me on angel wings
when he decided to fly.

ANGEL WINGS YOU WEAR...♥ღ♥


The day you left broke our hearts
and the tears fell like rain,
but knowing that you now have wings
helps to ease the pain.

♥ღ♥

We know now when the snow falls
it is Angel dust from you
and when we see a shooting star
our Angel just passed through.
♥ღ♥

The rain drops do not make us sad
for they are not tears,
but sprinkles of love falling down,
our Angel again is near.
♥ღ♥

The winter cold has even changed,
Jack Frost no longer exists,
it's now a visit from our Angel
and he's left a special gift.
♥ღ♥

You also visit in the night,
your wings flutter with grace,
we know now when we awaken
that an Angel has kissed our face.
♥ღ♥

When the days are warm and bright
and the sun shines from above,
we feel the warmth wrap around us,
you've given an Angel hug.

You are with us at all times,
every day and night,
you try to end the pain we have
and the tears that we still cry.

Though Heaven is your home now
and Angel wings you wear,
you stay close to those you love,
until they join you there.
